Solar controller indicating zero amp & not charging batteries

Have a Go power GP-PWM-30-UL solar controller, 190 watt solar module with inline 30 amp fuse.

Fuse checked good
Solar panel checked good
Controller not indicating any amps 0.0
Controller indicates volts & batter capacity.

Any ideas from anyone why the system will not charge the batteries

Thanks,

You mentioned that the solar panel tested good. Did you only do a voltage test? You can actually test its current output. See my attached troubleshooting document under the solar panel test area.

So, if the panel totally tests good with at least some current output, the next step would be to see if the controller can be programmed "off". If you don't have a manual go to the manufacturer's web site to see if you can get one.

Another quick thing to try is to try to reboot the controller. Disconnect the solar panel feed to the controller and then remove the 12 volt power to it. Then plug the 12 volt power back in followed by the panel connection. My manuals mentioned to always remove the solar panel before removing power.

If the panel is good but there is no output from the controller, your controller may be bad. Not much else there.

Did you have to replace your controller. Mine is doing the same thing. Get good colts from the panel but moon is shining on my controller and not charging

There are at least 2-3 other reports of poor connections within the roof mounted box. Jaylo here is an expert, if you need to pull the roof connection box apart.
