Stripped Door Guide / How to fix thin wood?

I have a 2010 29BHS with the sliding door between the master bedroom and the kitchen area. The nylon guide which was screwed to the partition wall at the bottom of the door has stripped out of the thin wood walls. Has anyone successfully repaired stripped screw holes in the thin wood paneling.
I have tried a match stick, the wall is not thick enough to support it. A larger screw also stripped out.
I am currently on my third try looking for a short Molly Bolt unless you have a better suggestion.

A Molly bolt would be your best bet. Home centers and hardware stores should have them. Home Despot carries these.

I have repaired them by removing the door, slit the glue joint and insert a solid piece the same thickness as the door. Glue it before placing , then glue the panel you cut and let it dry.
Now you have something solid to put a screw into.

I would use one of the type of anchors shown below.

They are available in different sizes at most hardware and large building material stores.
