My 2017 Greyhawk has a Progressive Dynamics pd4060k Load Center rated for 30A. It does NOT have the switch for the possibility to charge lithium batteries either.
In searching for the things I need in order to charge my lithium batts I saw an upgrade to the
power converter and thusly the ability to just change the whole damned load center to a
Intelli-Power 4500 series and upgrade to a 50A service and charge lithium at the same time. So converter only or the entire load center?
If I do this I'll need to also upgrade the
Automatic Transfer Switch.
This upgrade will allow me to charge the batts from the generator or shore pwr.
Secondly, I need to charge the batts from the alternator and still looking for a good DC-DC charger isolator device. The guy at Battle Born suggested the
Li-BIM 225 but it duty cycles and I didn't like the specs.
Maybe you guys went a different way with things and I would appreciate the parts info and some very exacting explanation if you would be so kind.
Thanks in advance!
