Tankless water heater issue

Well first day use , hot water in shower and bathroom sink works but not at kitchen sink. However if I run hot water in bathroom at same time I get hot water at kitchen sink. Any ideas of something I am not doing right.

The water flow in the kitchen sink is not enough to turn the tankless. It’s a typical symptom of this tankless. You can remove the water restrictor from the faucet and that might help.

This is the aerator in the faucet in the sink.
It might have debris which is restricting the flow of the water or it just doesn’t let enough water through to turn the tankless on. If you take that out of the faucet (it’s on the very top of the spigot) check for debris first. If there’s no debris then you might have to modify that to let more water through to get the tankless to kick on.

Viola

Hivoltage98. I did not find a water restrictor, however your comment about water flow gave me an idea that did the trick. I simply changed the sprayer at the kitchen sink to spray instead of single stream flow and that must have allowed more water to flow kicking in the water heater
