Thetford Cassette Toilet Vent Valve

Hello All,

First post on here. I belong to several other motorcycle and tractor forums and found them to be invaluable.

Anyway, I'm back to a used 1996 1206 for various reasons. While cleaning the cassette toilet to my standards :nurse: I noticed the rubber needs replaced on the "Automatic Vent Valve Assembly, Part #T23722" (according to Thetford's parts diagram).

I can't find it online. I email Thetford and they give me the name of the closest dealer who can't find the part either. The thing I hate about Thetford is they are a non-US company and parts can be impossible to get.

Anybody had success finding this part? Problem is the valve leaks when you flip it on it's side to dump the tank

I recently needed a part for a Thetford toilet in my trailer. It was still under warranty. One phone call and the part was on its way, no questions asked, and the operator was very helpful. Their # is 1 800 521 3032. I can`t say if parts are still available for that unit or not, but its worth a try. BTW welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum! Tehtford is very helpful as Crabmas says...give them a try..it may be they have just updated part numbers....happens often...
