Thanks everyone for your comments. I learned a lot.

For my purposes, I will go with a 2-wire 0-66V Voltmeter with Blue Display. The blue display matches my other onboard electronics and appliances. I'll be adding an in-line fuse as I will be connected direct to battery feed. I like the thought of adding a switch, however, the fuse can double as a disconnect in the rare instance I may want to do so.

I have the parts order and I'll post pics of the mod when complete.

Roy thanks for the info. The pics are a great way to understand what's going on. More stuff for my folder. If there is a good reason and a need I love to mod. Everyone needs a hobby.
