Thinking to go Solar

That inverter could be over kill.. and it idles at 10 amps... my magnum energy whole house inverter idles at 3 amps.. Do you really need 220 volt capacity? or are you paying for something you will never use?

I just wank to thank you guys for all the help! Special Thanks To Mustang5 and Seann45 for setting me straight on the inverter. Will pick up a Magnum 4000 watt 24 volt inverter.
