Thought i would pull the wheels and service the brakes on The TT
found 2 of the brake shoes on different axles, loose from the Metal plate that it is Glued to ,they are the factory shoes, you know back in the Day, they riveted the shoes to the backing assemblies..
Had that happen to the 2001 DESIGNER MH (E-450) we had after 2 years and they were disc brakes. Luckily they stayed close enough to the original position that I didn't get any metal to metal contact.
What make of axle's do you have? Today I serviced the left side and mine are in perfect shape. I have Dexter Axle's. Give your axle Mfg. a call you never now if they will handle it under warranty it might depend on the mileage. You have nothing to loose. Just take the stamped info of your axle's.
