Toilet

Sorry if I did not see the proper thread posts. Lots of information about black water, but I found nothing about toilets.
So, the other day, a FRIEND asked me about toilets. My FRIEND says that every time he uses the toilet for numero dos, the dos sticks to the sides. He says the toilet is full of water to the point that his - well - he feels like a tea bag.
Cleaning a poo fouled toilet is always unpleasant.
The toilet is a Thetford, all plastic, side flush.
My FRIEND is looking for an RV toilet with a ceramic bowl that is large and deep. Maybe even Teflon coated.
This is a big investment for my Friend and they need go information before making a purchase.
I know this is a sensitive subject, but I am just trying to help a FRIEND. Its not me, of course, just a FRIEND.

For what it's worth, our TT came with a Thetford Aqua Magic Style II. Porcelain on top and plastic base. Not really deep, so the "tea bag" problem still exists. Maybe your "friend" could try giving the inside of the bowl a coat of car wax to see if it helps at all.

Your friend needs more fiber Actually I just cleaned our toilet...not the bowl but down inside. When you flushed you could see a mess on the sides below the flapper. I shut the water off, opened the flapper and sprayed some cleaner, waited a minute then scrubbed it clean with a long brush I found on Amazon. My Thetford now looks like a clean British made Ford dump truck when you watch the flush

Spray the plastic inside with WD40 once in a while.

What TaftCoach said. Common practice with RV toilets. Helps from having to clean the bowl after every use.

I ordered our new Dometic with the optional sprayer. It takes care of most of those "smears".

Shower for Your Toilet?

Our Starcraft bathroom has the toilet right next to the shower, which has a shower wand.
I would think you could use it to spray down the sides of the toilet.
You might need to add a longer hose for your shower wand.

This is excellent advise and is a game changer! Adding a sprayer is bonus.
