Towing Within Limits? Here are the numbers.

I promised a while back that we would get our tv/tt weighed again and post the results here so others could work the numbers for us. So, how're we doing? Should we hide from the "weight police"? (Lord knows we don't want to wind up a statistic on Youtube or worse yet, JOF Humor thread...) LOL Our set-up was loaded for our current trip so the numbers are an accurate representation. Thanks ahead of time for the input

(Bob - we didn't use CAT scales. The local scales were quite small, so hopefully you can still figure what you need with the way we had to weigh)

F-150 Platinum - Ratings
GCWR – 16,900
Gross towing – 11,300
GWR – 7,100 (adjusted 5,340)
-payload 1,700

F-150 Platinum - Actual Weight
TV only with wdh/bars – 6,060
TV only with wdh/bars plus 2 adult 2 kids – 6,500
TV rear axle with wdh/bars 2,910

Jay Flight G2 29BHS - Ratings
GWR – 7,500

Jay Flight G2 29BHS - Actual Weight
TT only unhooked – 6,880
Tongue – 1,070

[The scale we used was pretty short so could not weigh combo tv/tt together on it]
TV/TT hooked with bars engaged (tt only on scale) 5,940
TT/TV hooked without bars engaged (tt only on scale) oooops! Didn’t get it
TT/TV hooked with bars engaged (tv rear tires and tt tires on scale) 4,100
TT/TV hooked without bars engaged (tv rear tires and tt tires on scale)

Yes. All food/clothes, stuff, some water in fresh tank, propane pretty much full, storage bins loaded the way we thought would work best.

With above passenger potential.... guestimating it would be 6,500 or so

The location of 440lbs of passengers isn't going to make or break that deal you are fine.
