TV Antennae

I'm missing one wing of my Winegard crank up antennae. Is there a better replacement that doesn't involve roof resealing ? I can get just the replacement head from Amazon for $54 but is there better ?
I didn't find much info doing a search.

That Winegard model you have assuming it's a sensar III is better than most any new ones. Just replace the head... New ones are smaller footprint but can't physical receive any better signal. You can make yours more directional by adding the Winegard wingman to bring in UHF signals slightly better then its know as a sensar IV
Wish ours had the sensar IV but it has a newer small footprint model that is very finicky when pulling in max range channels

Unlike yours, mine wasn't damaged. I was just unhappy with the reception I was getting with my old "bat-wing" antennae. I replaced just the head with a "King Jack" replacement head. I bought it at Camping World, but I'm sure they're available on Amazon, E-Trailer, etc. Back then, it came in two models: one for new installs; and one for retrofitting on existing systems. I bought the retrofit version. It came with two mounting brackets (one for round poles & one for the square, crank-up mast my trailer has). It also came with a power booster, but I didn't use that, since I already had it built into my trailer.

Installation was really easy! It took me longer to get out the ladder & tools than it took to swap out the old for the new. Best part was my reception was greatly improved. Instead of 4 channels with the old one, I was able to pick up 8 or 9! I'm able to pick up several channels in campgrounds where my neighbors with the old "bat-wing" or the new "roof-mounted" antennae aren't able to get more than one or two (if any). Was well worth the money!
