The 2010 Jayco Eagle model we walked through had an elevated cabinet designed for a 4/3 aspect ratio TV in the bedroom. I would hope they will have redesigned it in our on-order 2011 to accommodate a 16/9, otherwise we may be forced to settle for a tiny 22' set, or go out on the used market to find an old set that will fit in the cabinet. I began noticing this problem in all the brands we looked at before settling on Jayco and wonder, particularly in Jayco's case where they make their own cabinetry, why they would continue to produce an obviously outdated cabinet. I cannot remember a trailer still having a 4/3 cabinet for the main room TV, yet manufacturers can't seem to carry that over to another room. I'm going to write Jayco, but perhaps someone has more recent information than what I'm going on.
