Question Under cabinet light won't turn on... Where to begin?

My over the sink / under cabinet fluorescent light will no longer turn on.

- I did replace both T5 bulbs. Still no light.

Question:

Is this a factory installed light? Would it be associated with a fuse in the converter box?

What is the best way to trouble shoot the situation?

I run the trailer 100% of the time on shore power. Everything else electrical is working ok.

Thank you for your help.

If everything else is operating as it should be, it could be the ballast in the fixture. You said you replaced the bulb and other electrical outlets and lights work, so my guess is the ballast in the fixture needs to be replaced or replace the entire light fixture. Price is probably the same or cheaper to replace the whole light fixture.

The switch could also be the problem. If it controls more than just the fluorescent fixture then it's easy to rule that out. The 110V items will be protected by a breaker so first check the breakers. Have you verified the 110V outlets near the sink area? They will be protected by a GFI type breaker but may be on the same circuit as the light. If you are under warranty then the dealer could sort it out for you.

All outlets in kitchen & elsewhere working Aok. Wondering if the light has its own fuse but can't see where that might be.

No sure about yours, but in My RV, some lights are controlled by both the switch on the fixture and a separate wall switch

I'd pull the fixture and check for voltage at the leads and go from there. While it can happen, it's pretty unlikely that power cut out to the fixture. I would guess fixture went bad (My technical term)

+1 check for power at the light.
