Vegatouch System Light Issue Seneca

I have a 21 Seneca with the Vegatouch Mira system and there is something odd happening with a set of overhead lights.

In the bathrooms there are two light switches, one for the vanity and one for the hall. These light switches are located in a dual switch housing. These lights have worked fine sine we got the camper two months ago. Just this week, a brightness issue began.

If you turn these lights on at the switch they are very dim and make a buzzing sound. Yesterday, I turned the lights on using the Vegatouch panel and they came on full brightness. However, using the switches they were still dim.

I assumed there was a problem with the switches and swapped one for a know good one in the bedroom and still dim.

I checked the current to the bathroom switches and it read 11.5v. The current to the bedroom switch read 10.0v.

I am assuming there must be something wrong with the Vegatouch bus, but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue with their system.

Also can someone explain how the switches and power work for lights? How does the Vegatouch close the circuit to turn on the light?

If the switch you’re using is a momentary switch then you hold it down and the light will dim until the lowest value and will start getting bright. When you find the brightness you like let go of the switch. If the switch is a toggle, it’s not dimmable. The Vegatouch system is turning 12 volts loads on with solid state components.

That’s what it was. Thank you very much. I had no idea the lights could be dimmed in this way.

You are welcome.
When turning the lights on with the Firefly touch panel as you hold the button the lights will dim as we’ll.
