Things are looking up- the new faucet got here today! Woohoo! Details coming soon...
No confusion from you. I was just taking a stab in the dark.

Whats wierd- the faucet worked fine when we first brought the camper home and hooked it up, no issues whatsoever- no noise, nothing but good pressure & flow.

It didn't start hammering until after being hooked up for several hours at the campground. Once I hooked it up again at home (thinking hopefully it would be alright again), it didn't change- just noise and a trickle.
Interesting. This make me think there is a blockage from some debris in the faucet. If the CG was on a well system, something could have been drawn up from the well, and ended up in your camper. The wire mesh screen would catch most stuff, but maybe it was small enough to get through that. This is just my wild stab in the dark.......

Thumbs up Woohoo !!!!! Its fixed !!!...

(Insert bad mental picture of white guy doing happy-dance here)...

The faucet was the whole problem with the 'hammering' issue. A quick faucet replacement and a few loose couplers (with anticipation of removal again I neglected to tighten them all the way) tightened...I turned on the water...and presto! Awesome pressure (a bit too much, I put the regulator on the hose), quiet flow...and lots of 'feel good' about camping again. :hihi:
