Wow. The actions of this dealer sound unlawful to me. Probably not worth it to go after him, and sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do, but geez... "It's just a storage compartment that needs a new door." Now that explanation takes a really gutsy and hopefully fairly rare type of salesman.

George,

If you feel that you were truly taken advantage of by this dealer and they are unwilling to make things right, it would be worth the time to contact the BBB for your area on-line, only takes a few minutes. We need to put these kind of places on alert.

Also, since your going to be on the road, the following RV service review web site may come in handy: http://www.rvservicereviews.com/

Yes sir, they saw me coming a mile away! Like I said, I'm a newbie to TT's, and I fell for this hook, line, and sinker! Sales lady didn't even know what she was talking about when she was explaining the UVW versus the GVTW...should've been a clue there. I'm a country boy, so I've hauled horse trailers and such before, and I do know some about hauling. She even tried to tell me that some of her customers hauled trailers bigger than mine (6850 UVW) without a WD hitch or sway bars!!! So everyone beware of Archer RV's in Houston...they are EVIL!!!!

:lightning: Oh Lord, I just Googled them, and most of the reviews are BAD!!! I mean really bad! Out of the 30 reviews I read, only two had anything good to say! I wonder how these low life business' stay around...but then I think, because of suckers like me! Small town boy had to learn another lesson the hard way!
