water heater, what now
Ok, so i feel like a newbie this camping trip with our new trailer, yall got my heater issue fixed last night. Decided to go through everything today, turn on the water heater and it ran but not getting hot water inside. Double checked to make sure it wasnt bypassed i also opened the valve on the water heater hot water came out, let it run a good while inside and ice cold any ideas

Did you try running the cold water tap to see if hot comes out? I've heard of at least one new trailer that had hot and cold pipes reversed, straight from the factory.

Wow, yes that is the issue, hot water works on outside shower, but inside cold water is the hot water, WTH.

Looks like you have your first warranty item for your dealer to fix.
Enjoy your new unit.
Happy RVing,
Jeff

Some things like that are easier to fix yourself.
Instead of hauling it to the dealer where it will sit on the lot for weeks if not longer to get fixed.
Most things will be easier to fix at home then take in...

As long as the inlet pipes are long enough if they are switch. If so, simple fix.

I would not want a quick stopgap fix. I would want myself or someone to find out where the pipes are reversed and fix it as it should be.

The change would have to be made after the point where the outside shower lines are connected. Probably PEX tubing, and a pair of SharkBite fittings would do the job easily. But really, you shouldn't have to pay anything and the dealer should take care of it.
Glad I nailed it for you Texanrebel, but sorry for your problems. At least you have hot and cold at all the faucets.

I do not recall who had the sender issue, but they reported the pipes were crosses under the shower pan. I would think it would be hard to correct, but he said the dealer fixed it.
I see no issues with hot water going to the toilet.

That NOT an issue. Seems like a "premium flush". They might charge extra for that!
Do you know for sure that hot water is going to the toilet?
My first guess is that they hooked up the sink faucet wrong and the hoses need to be swapped.

When we flush the rv toilet, there is not enough water run to get hot water to it even if flushed several times.
It may not hurt but what's the point?

Is it isolated with the Kitchen faucet ? Is the bath faucet and shower faucet correct? If so, then it is probably just lines under the sink switched and an easy fix. If all the interior water is reversed then a much more difficult fix possibly. Good Luck.

Everything but outside shower is backward, there is a easy fix in the bathroom so bathroom sink and kitchen sink would be correct
