water pump

I have a 2003 Granite Ridge MH. Any one know how to get to the water pump to replace it? I have contacted Jayco, but they were stumped also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jerry.

This is the typical looking water pump....

These can be installed anywhere... Mine is located next to the water heater tank.

I have seen them under the sink and also accessible from the pass thru storage area.

I guess you know where it is by the sound it makes when you use it...

You may have to remove a panel to get to it. It won't be permanently hidden from view but may be behind a panel you can get thru by removing some screws...

This one shown in this google image is installed on the floor next to the water heater tank...

I have heard getting at the water pumps in some MH's can be a pain. Some folks with "C's" have been able to access there pumps from a panel under the beds (varies with floor plans). Also check near the fresh water tank. In some other MH's the pump is located near or behind the utility panel thus requiring some of the utility control panel to be removed (bad design).

Believe it or not, I recall seeing somewhere that access was through a panel in a rear wheel well!

Once you find it, is there a way to carefully create your own access panel?

If it's that difficult to get to, I'd take it my nearest Jayco dealer or CW and let them do it!

I'm all about no frustrations!!!
