Weird water leak

I took my RV (Jayco Jay Flight SLX 174BH) for annual service. When I picked it up didn't notice anything but when we arrived at the RV park there was water all over the bathroom's floor.
Dried up, use the shower, sink, etc and no water leak. After we got home the next day, we found water again in the bathroom.
My only logical explanation is that somehow the water that stays in the line starts leaking somewhere while they trailer is moving. I cannot explain why it doesn't leak when I don't use the shower.
Any ideas?

It could be the water left in toilet splashing out when travelling especially when you go over a dip in the road.

What does annual service consist of?

I had an similar issue two years ago and my toilet valve was malfunctioning, but only when it felt like it.

I agree with Glamper64. Before I installed a Dometic 320 that has a lip like a home toilet, our thetford would slosh around and get on the floor if too much water was left in the bowl.

Inspect, clean and reseal roof, replace a couple of lights, check the bearings, and they also fixed a USB port. They didn't touch anything related to plumbing.

That makes sense. We are going to use it for Thanksgiving and I'll make sure the toilet is dry.

Leave enough water in the bowl to keep fumes from coming thru them in the toilet, just a few inches.

To answer your other question, It means different things to different places. Make sure you get that cleared up before you leave it. My fil paid cw $250. to do a yearly inspection a few years back and they gave him a list of things but fixed none of them. Wanted extra to correct them.

As norty1 says, leave some water in the toilet for the smell but also to keep the flapper seal from drying out. Obviously keeping the seat down should help but I can see that flapping up and down as you hit the dips...maybe lay a piece of plastic wrap over the water if the problem persist or better yet, seal the entire top rim if you have a porcelain bowl just like sealing leftovers

We have a '22 174 BH STX and haven't had an issie with water on the floor.....excpet for the time qe got hit with a severe thunderstorm and never though to close the wide open ceiling vent enough so the rain wouldn't come in.

We've never travelled with water in the toilet bowl either. I would agree though. Water in the bowl sloshing out seem like the logical answer here. Given everything else had been tried and didn't leak.

You sure it was only the bathroom floor?

Did you open up the area under the bed where the water tank is located?

I had my water tank connector snapped during a road trip and water was everywhere and there is a service hole (for the water lines) that connects to your bathroom.

Another vote for water in the toilet sloshing. For proof, next time travel with no water in it to be 100% sure.

Same here, water sloshing out of the toilet if too much water was left in it.

You only need a few inches in the toilet but I would not run with it empty unless you like sewer fumes.

I agree with RIICH to check the toilet flush valve for leaks. I'd also check the toilet seal between the toilet and black tank...check for leaks emerging from the base of the toilet. Neither are likely, but both are possible sources.

Lastly, a particular model of Dometic toilet, the 300 I believe, has a reputation for cracking and leaking.

If experiments with leaving far less water in the toilet while traveling don't yield the results you hope for, keep looking. And if you have a toilet leak of some sort, obviously your cleanup strategy needs to become far more rigorous, because blackwater isn't something you just wipe up with a paper towel.
