What is under front pass through storage space floor??
I'm looking at running some wiring from my front batteries up through covered underbelly into my pass through storage space on my 2017 Jay Flight SLX 175RD to support solar charge controller and future inverter. It's been recommended to cut a 1 1/2" hole in the flooring and route a short length of PVC up through the underside with a PVC junction box on the external end.
I've read where people have cut through the semi-rigid plastic to run the wires and others have cut the thin flexible plastic sheath that runs outside of the semi-rigid. I was wondering if there was much danger of cutting anything necessary when cutting through the sub-flooring of the pass though if cutting within of about a foot of the front?? Would it be better to come up through the semi-rigid plastic or the thinner plastic sheet that is just stapled??
Jayco customer support wouldn't advise me or provide a schematic since the unit is still under warranty.
Thanks in advance
