Who installed a louder horn?

I have a 2022 Greyhawk and would love to change the horn for a louder one.

Has anyone installed a better/louder horn?

Was thinking along the lines of a Wolo Bad Boy, but wonder if there is enough space under the hood of that E 450...

Open to suggestions.

Thank you.

Better get some bulletproof glass while you’re at it. In today’s world you diss the wrong person you’re in trouble. You’ll look like the one with all the money sitting high & dry saying ( get out of my way). Getting to be too many angry people out there on the road.
Maybe it’s just me but I’m starting to look over shoulder these last few years.
There’s a few Police on this forum and it would be interesting to hear from them.

Good to know - right you are. Lots of easily upset people around these days.

It's really only for highway driving as I find the Ford horn pretty puny.

A local news crew found themselves on the receiving end of the new tik tok thing. Surveillance video showed the reporter and cameraman set up on the sidewalk. Car load of thugs drove by, and while recording sprayed them with full auto plastic pelet guns. I want to see the video where the victim shoots back with real bullets. It ain't just the thugs packing heat.
Back to the original subject.

Get the Dual Two Tone horns from Amazon or similar. The dual horns play in harmony and are louder and sound more pleasing. ~CA

Remember...5-bell train air horns are considered overkill.

I try not to use my horn to tell people to get out of my way or to tell them they screwed up but I will use it if someone in a parking lot is backing up and not noticing me. My wife has been backed into twice in a parking lot and both times the other driver admitted fault at the scene and then changed their mind when talking to their agent. I don't know if it would have changed the outcome but in both cases they asked my wife if she used her horn to warn the other driver but she did not. Both were handled as "no fault" claims but I have always wondered if tooting the horn would have changed anything?

Pretty much the only time I ever have to use mine is when someone is sitting there texting (or asleep/goofing off/digging in their console...) at a green light.

I know the horn in my camper works because my dog has stood on it while watching us walk away from the camper.

I was involved in an accident in college, it was clearly the other driver's fault. Her insurance agent asked if I honked the horn, and I admitted that I had, but only because that's where my palm hit when I tried to squeeze the guts out of the steering wheel. Did not change the outcome, but I thought it a strange question since whether I did or not is irrelevant because it was physically impossible for me to avoid the collision (I tried).

Whatever horn you get, PLEASE don't get one of those train horns. There are a few on "bro dozers" in my town, and they'll honk them in the grocery store parking lot. 'Bout like to give me a damn heart attack from 3 rows away (and they're not even honking at me). There's just no call for something like that.

Works good when other drivers donít look before they pull out. Has saved us a couple times.

Just an FYI to add, here in Texas (and I suspect some other states) it is illegal to have installed a vehicle horn (as the regular horn) that sounds like a train horn. However, it is legal to have one for a vehicle security system but again not for a regular horn. ~CA

Louder horn

I installed this air horn on our Greyhawk. I mounted it between the grill and the radiator and it works fine.

Why? Isn't there enough noise pollution without this crap? I love honking the horn at people who just don't get it in traffic but why add more noise to the already drone of traffic, motorcycles without mufflers, teen street racers and I could go on.
