I just finished installing a Ubiquiti Unifi network and Nanostation in my TT. I have the Unifi controller software running on a Mac Mini (which is doubling as a Plex Media server with 4tb drive, cloned from my home server). I had a spare Unifi 8-port POE switch and added a USG-3p router and UAP Pro access point (mounted on the ceiling) to complete the setup in the coach.
The network hardware is all mounted in a lower cabinet below the TV and Furrion radio/receiver. I added a wood partition so our other storage stuff didn't infringe on the space (DW was happy with that). The Mac Mini is mounted on the panel behind the TV (hidden out of site but can get air flow).
The Nanostation is mounted to a Weboost Antenna mast. Its a removable unit, not for use in travel, telescopes to 25' and I mounted it to the street side just ahead of the main slide. This way I can reach through the window and rotate it to the best signal, using the Furrion TV as my screen connected to the Mac Mini.
The Nanostation is excellent. Just be sure to get the older M2 version, supporting 2.4ghz. You could get the M5 but RV parks will definitely have 2.4ghz wireless and only some have 5ghz. The Nanostations only support one band, not both. And the newer Nanonstations don't work as they only support AirMax and you can't disable that functionality.
To make the connection from the Nanostation to the rest of the network I picked up a panel mounted, waterproof RJ45 connector from Amazon. It works pretty well. I installed two in case I ever want to add a second M5 Nanostation. These feed directly into the cabinet from the outside.
We've used this setup on one trip to Yosemite so far and it worked great. The campsites wifi was bandwidth limited but we had a strong signal. Having the media server with movies, tv shows, music etc on board was great.
The video and blog from Outside Our Bubble is excellent. Definitely check that out!
