The Wingman is advertised as improving the reception of signals in the UHF channels. When the change was made to digital frequencies, all of the VHF channels between 2 and 13 went to being broadcast on UHF frequencies which is channels 14 and higher. So in theory, the Wingman should help you get better reception.
Will you see a difference with a Wingman? It's hard to say. I added both the Wingman and the SensarPro amplifier. Later on I tried a Jack antenna. I found between the two, the Wingman Sensar antenna with the Wingman and SensarPro signal amplifier it noticeably outperformed the Jack antenna. Is there something better out there? I don't know. But the combination of Sensar Antenna, Wingman and SensarPro amplifier is the best I've found so far.
