Well don’t spend $58 like I did on 24” Bosch wiper blades. After 2.5 months, several streaks now are appearing. Sent a grief msg to Bosch, no response after 10 days. My previous pair of Boschs lasted 3.5 years, at $40 then, but ended up replacing due to tree sap skipping. I really liked Bosch, but I’ll try something a less expensive.

I’ve been running Trico, excellent price point and longevity. Their winter blades are great too!!

Our summer sun beats the heck out of ‘em, cheap or expensive. I’ve had great luck with basic Motorcraft blades — about $12 as I remember.

I use RainX, water repellant, not the blades. Keep a good coat of RainX and you dont need the wipers, or rarely use them. I have Bosch I beam blades on my wife G6 and on my 01 Yukon and haven't replaced them in years because of the RainX.

I've used RainX since it came out and it really helps.

X3 on the RainX. I put it on all the windows, and that makes scraping off the ice much easier. The truck and car get treated about three times a year. Great stuff!

X4 on rain-X, it seams to last really good for 10 months. I apply it every fall. I apply 2-3 coats, and then wiped it clean, wash the window with clean water a couple times. Otherwise it looks smeery until it rains.

As for wipers, I have not found anything I like, since Napa discontinued their teflon wipers.

Last pair I purchased were Piaa. Silicone type blade. They come with a coating that you apply to the windshield that after 7 months is still holding up very well.

I am very satisfied with my Rain-X Latitude blades. They wipe the windshield clear and the rain-x treatment allows the water drops to stream off the windshield even without the wipers. Mine last at least 2 years, but the vehicles remain in a garage when not in use. SYMMV

I've always had good luck with the Bosch blades. I use RainX washer fluid. After a few uses, it's almost as good as applying the stand-alone product. TX is pretty tough on blades, especially since I live in a rural area. I can rarely get more than one year out of a set of blades. If I'm lucky I can eek out two years if I keep up on the cleaning.

I'm curious about the Michelin products. I didn't know they did that, but I LOVE their tires.

When we have too many ice cubes in the freezer, we store some on our windshields for safe keeping. Sometimes they stick, so we have to scrape them.

Dskyward, your Bosch wipers may have replacement rubber inserts available, much cheaper and easier to replace, they just slide out and you slide the new ones in.

I now buy only the blades on sale at Costco. In 50 years of driving, having worked in auto repair shops, been a Fleet Manager, etc. the high end blades are never worth the money. For safety sake I replace all our blades a minimum of once every 24 months. I've never had my DW complain that she can see.
