wires at rear wall inside storage behind water hearer?????

I found 4 wires coming out of the rear wall of my trailer. They are behind the water heater and connected to nothing. Red, Brown, White & Orange.

Does anybody know what these wires are for and where they go to?????

I would like to use them to run 12 volts into the rear compartment if they are not important. I just need to know where the other end is??

Please help if you have any ideas.

Thanks!!!

Happy Camping!!

My furnace is under the sofa in the front. This is all the way on the rear wall right next to the water heater. Not sure what they are for??

The colors sound like what is in the 4 wire trailer plug, which would run the clearance lights, left signal, right signal and ground.

You can rent a wire locater to find out where the other end is. You hook up just two of those wires to a small battery and take the hand held unit that has a small speaker in it and it will buzz when you get near it. Try an audio shop that installs home theater systems. Sometimes wires are berried behind drywall and this is how they locate them. It's like a stud finder.

Thanks. I tried hooking the truck to the trailer and testing the wires and nothing so those do t go to the trailer plug. I thought the same thing but got no power to them. Still trying to figure them out. I ended up running a new 12v wire from the fuse panel back to that compartment for lights so it's not critical but I would like to know what they go to.
Thanks

Happy camping
