What type of add on mirrors do you 1/2 ton chevy owners find work best?

I used CIPA mirrors on my 1/2ton 'burb, they worked pretty well.

I had the strap on type but hated them. I would go with the CIPA slip on type for the extra $ if I were to do it over again.

I also use the Cipas on my 2004. OK for occasional use like I do but the mirrors are not all that big.

I just ordered the CIPA off of amazon. All the reviews I read seemed to say that if you are just towing part time then these are the best bang for your buck.

I picked up a set of CIPA mirrors for my new Subby. I had a pair for them on my old Subby too. They work great.

I have the CIPA mirrors as well for my 2005 Chev PU. They work great while pulling the trailer. It's amazing how much more line of sight you gain when using the extra mirrors.

I used the same set of McKesh mirrors for 11 years. They provide outstanding vision, easy on and off and are very durable.

If my current tow vehicle did not have extendable mirrors, I'd still be using them.

Make sure you get the optional convex spotter mirrors.

I highly recommend them.

I use the CIPA slip on mirrors. They seem to work really well. They stay put, don't seem to rattle or vibrate at speed, and have held up great so far. Amazon seems to be a cheap place to buy them. I got my set on Amazon warehouse deals for for around $50. Only thing wrong with them was the original package (aka cardboard box) was torn up pretty bad. Product was just fine though.
