11-16 superduty tank

Found this today in the scratch and dent section. They are new tanks. Titan has released a new model and these are left over stock. Looks like they include the skid plate as well while supplies last. Very good deal. They had them discounted to 999 and lowered the price further to 850

I bought one similar to the titan years ago for my 99 dodge. It was a bolt in 60gal where the titan was a 50 or 55gal, can't remember. Either way it was really nice having the extra capacity under the truck instead of in the bed. I mainly bought it because towing snowmobile trailers in the winter, my Cummins was thirsty and I hated getting up north to the snow belt and having to waste time looking for diesel fuel, filling up at small places when you did find it and not knowing what the fuel quality is like, and the higher prices compared to back home.
I'll never forget, my buddy invited someone to go up riding with us once and we had just over a 250mi drive to get there. We made it all the way and the fuel gauge just barely moved off the max full mark and was touching the F. He made the comment about how my truck must be getting like 40mpg because it was still full. I told him to hold that comment until we get back home and have to fill it up. BTW, at that time diesel was hanging around $4.25/gal. We rode sleds all weekend, pack up sunday nite and came home. Low fuel chime hit around 25mi from home where we have a good size diesel fuel station. I pulled in there where the big trucks fill up, threw that fire hose sized nozzle in and set it for full flow. It kicked off about a minute later and that guy couldn't believe how fast it filled up. He didnt realize the fast flow rates of diesel pumps. Inlet it sit for a minute or so to let the foam fizz off and went out and topped it off. The funniest part was the look on his face and how he about had a choking heart attack when the bill came back at $225. Lol!
About the only drawback to having that tank is it was a 60gal, but you could only get 55gal of it. There was always 5 gal sloshing around in there that the sump couldn't pick up. I'm sure by now they've got that all figured out though.
