2012 Jayco 29QBH Hitch Height

Anyone with a Jayco 29QBH know their hitch height to top of ball w/under mount coupler?

Purchased a 2015 Ram 2500 (24.5" to top of 2" receiver adapter) and am thinking I will need a new drop shank. I only have 1 hole lower on my current shank (used with 2014 Ram 1500).

I wish Jayco would publish hitch height specs, at least with standard factory tires. I'd like to know the hitch height on the new 195rb I have on order so that I can make sure my old ball mount will work.

Congrats on the new tv!!!

Can’t help on the ball height.

But I would suggest to seriously consider going with a 2.5” shank if you need to buy one. There is less slop than when using the adapter with a 2” shank.

https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories...0-02-4900.html has worked well for me, very bottom hole, but the stock 29BHDS sits slightly nose down. I too changed from half to 3/4

Equalizer also makes a 12” drop hitch but it’s only 2”. I like not having the adapter.
