For the Colorado? That's pretty good!

Yeah that 1450 payload is equal to my Chevy 1500 work truck.

+1, I've always liked those trucks, and that one looks pretty sharp IMO.

That's what I was thinking, my door pillar on my '12 GMC Sierra says 1474 lbs.

Ford has the same size truck overseas as well. Ford ranger (T6) and it also has a 3.2litre Duratorq Diesel. But unlike GM, Ford has decided NOT to bring it over because of the lack of sales outside of the full size truck market....So who is right....sales will see....GM was the one that needed the bailout a few years ago

Ford is though bringing the diesel engine over for the new Ford transit van. Just more preparation for 2025 to lower millions in penalties

Maybe this will inspire Toyota to bring out a better Tacoma. The arms race in the full size and heavy duty pickup truck markets have benefited everyone. The Tacoma has been on the same platform for a very long time - lack of competition has done that.

but taco sales are through the roof.....There isn't a truck out that holds its value as much either. Toyota obviously has a good thing.

Dakota was a bigger truck and smaller than full size...where is it now?

Titan is bigger than compact but smaller than full size and it sits at the bottom in truck sales behind even Honda...

I can't see Toyota changing

I sure do like those taco trucks. If I were in the market for something smaller than a full-size truck, it would be hard to pass one up.

We had a 07 Canyon with the inline 5 cyl engine. It was a great little truck and pulled our quads and Rhino with ease. I was disappointed when I saw they dropped the 5 cyl engine.
