2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara toad

Leave the key in the ignition on accessory to keep steering wheel from locking.
On some previous posts I read not necessary. Thoughts

My 2016 Sahara steering wheel does not lock, thus no need to leave key in and on. Pretty sure that's one of the top reasons Wranglers are popular toads.

There is no reason to leave the key in the ignition on a Wrangler. There is no locking of the steering system. Attach the Jeep, run through the process to put the Jeep in tow mode and shut the vehicle off.
