2018 Greyhawk <tow> 2017 Ford Edge equipment?

Hi All, we are planning to tow our 2017 Ford Edge and currently looking at a complete tow setup. I have been reading posts and articles about brands (Blue Ox, Roadmaster, SMI) for; base plate, tow bar, brake system (active/passive), stone guard and other necessities.

Can anyone with +- experience give me some insight on what components you are using and why? Tow vehicle (Edge) is about 4050 lbs and Greyhawk hitch rated at 7500 lbs.
