I’ve towed our 5,000-lb-plus rig through 30-40 mph crosswinds and felt comfortable. In fact, I’ve never had any kind of sway even with semi’s passing me closely. For a small to medium trailer, I’ve found it to work great.

X2 on the Andersen. I have gone across Nebraska in winds that pro RV haulers were pulling off the road and I never noticed sway. Compared to the other two types I have had it is 100%. The pro drivers told me they pulled off due to sway.
The friction cone is service free, requires no adjustment as the tongue weight is the adjustment for sway control. And on my 195RB the weight distribution returns great control-ability to by front wheels.
