2021 GMC 2500 Duramax and Andersen Hitch

Hi all. I currently have a 2018 Eagle HT fifth wheel and thinking of purchasing a new GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax standard bed TV. My question is, does anyone have the same vehicle and using a Gooseneck Andersen hitch? If so, are you experiencing any truck sidewall clearance issues? Can it be adjusted to different heights? I’m not questioning the quality of the hitch, I’m already sold on it, just worried about clearance issues. I don’t believe front to back clearances will be an issue. Any help would be appreciated...thanks

I have a long bed gmc and have no bed rail clearance issues, and yes the hitch has three height adjustment settings, mine is in the middle. My buddy has the 2020 Chevy short bed and has had no issues either.

It would be nice if either of you could post a picture of the hitch. Many get the Andersen Gooseneck confused with the Andersen Ultimate.

Mine is the Ultimate and it has performed well for me with a sb truck.

Your right Norty, I didn't catch that, I have the ultimate hitch not the gooseneck.

Are you guys using the regular or enhanced height ultimate hitch? I have a 2021 Silverado 2500HD. The measured height from the floor of the bed to the bed rail is just a touch over 21". I called Anderson and they recommended the enhanced height version of the hitch but the guys also sounded like he just wanted me off the phone.

It's a lot more expensive for the higher hitch and I'm worried it will put the 5th wheel too high above the bed rails. These are already tall trucks. I don't want the nose sticking straight up in the air.
