2500HD Rail Height with Jayco HT

Hi-
New guy first post (hope it is in the right place!)

We are looking at a 2018 Jayco HT 30.5ckts. We will pull with a 2016 Chevy 2500HD 6.6 bed.

Are there any concerns with bed rail height?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I’ve got the same truck. Pull a 17 Eagle HT. Mine rides just a hair nose high. A year and a half into it. No issues. 6” of rail clearance.

We have an 07 Silverado 2500HD and tow level. Just purchased a 2018 2500HD high Country and will see what needs to be done, if anything, to tow level....

It's been a great trailer so far. The vent/fan they put in kind of sucks(does suck). I'm on my second fan and still got a few dripps in some really heavy rain this past trip. Also, it only moves enough air to rid the bathroom of steam during showers. I'll replace it myself at some point with something better. Had a leaky black tank valve. Got that repaired. Those have been the only big things. Most other stuff has been user error or a one off type thing that never repeated.

Keeps us cool in hot weather, dry in wet weather, and warm when it's cold out. Towes great, and looks good. Get lots of compliments on it.

BTW, this forum is fantastic with help on the user error stuff I mentioned. Whenever I've had a question on anything, someone has an answer for me.
