Advice on getting a new hitch

I'm looking to upgrade my current husky 16k hitch to something better. It was what the dealer gave me when I got my last fiver. I'm looking at either the B&W Patriot 18k hitch or the Reese Titan 20k. Both are similarly priced. I like the fact that the Reese has built in dampeners but I've read that hooking up or unhooking can be a pain. The B&W seems very stout but I worry about its weight...as in putting it in or taking it out of the truck. I think I'm leaning towards the B&W. Any advice/comments on either?

I have the B&W 18k manual slider...I have had no problems hooking and unhooking! Very easy, even at angles and uneven surface. I'm very happy that I went with it, as it was recommended by a friend who has the non-slider. The head comes off easy and isn't heavy at all...the base is another story! The base is heavy and I can move it myself, but it's a struggle.
