Andersen WDH with Jay Flight SLX 212qbw???

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody with a 25' Jay Flight SLX 212QBW or equivalent size and weight is using an Andersen WDH and their towing experience using it??

I've been using an Andersen (which I really like) with a 175RD but would have to buy a new 2 5/16" ball, cone assembly for a 212QBW (currently using 2") for $199.00.

The dry weight of the Rocky Mountain Edition 212qbw is 4300 lbs and hitch weight is 455 lbs. By the time the trailer is loaded it will probably be about 5000 lbs with a tongue weight closer to 600 lbs. See my signature for my TV.

Thanks in advance.

I use an anderson with my 22BHM with similar specs. Absolutely satisfied with the hitch with my Ram 2500.

I really like Andersen but if you have concerns give them a call. Their customer service is one of the best I have ever experienced.

I used an Andersen WDH when I pulled our Jayco 27DSRL for over 3000 miles last year. The TT was 7500 lbs GVWR. Was very pleased with it. Has the 2 5/16" ball. We moved to a FW so no longer need it. We have it in the for sale section.

My trailer is a 322fks, and it comes in at about 9300lbs on the cat scale. With balance load the tongue weight is 1250lbs. I have used a Anderson for 7 years and about 3000 to 4000 miles a year towing. It works fine.

Anderson is also amazing with warranty coverage.

Bought our SLX 212 last fall and a 1999 F250 about the same time. Our dealer highly recommended the Andersen WDH so we had them install it. So far it’s been great. TT tows like it’s on rails. No sway, even when passed by semis. Love it.
