I've been running an Anderson No-Sway hitch for over five years across two trailers and three tow vehicles and have had to loosen the adjuster nuts maybe three times and that was because I didn't understand that you can simply raise the tongue jack while connected to loosen the chains.

In the past three years I have touched the adjuster nuts and we camp around 65-70 days per year.

I wouldn't trade this hitch for four traditional WD hitches personally.....

I only change my adjustment if I load my trailer differently such as full tanks vs empty. Then it is about 1/2 to 1 turn on each.

The only time I loosen nuts is when I had to park at an exceptionally bad angle and don't get it right when I back in to attach.

NO raising a bar to pull a lever into place. Less weight, NO SWAY even in high winds.

Only have limited use on the Andersen but first trip out aside from bringing it home was pretty windy. The sway control worked so good I couldn’t believe it. I’ve towed a lot of things over the years and this just made it super easy. The trailer didn’t sway but the whole truck and trailer moved more as one piece when the wind was blowing, much easier to handle for sure. Dealer didn’t have it set up right and you could tell on the way home from there it wasn’t. Made the necessary changes and this thing is awesome. My plate I found if it isn’t perfectly straight I could actually just give it a small kick with the bottom of my heel and it straightened right out. Really didn’t take much to do, of course I did it with the truck and trailer not connected.
