another "can I tow it"?

Hey guys just wanted to get some feedback. I have pretty much decided but wanted to get your opinions. I have a 2010 Ford Superduty -F250 crew cab 4x4 5.4 L and was looking at the 28BHBE. I am close to max depending on how we load it. The weak link in this equation is the 5.4 anyone tow something similar with this setup? If so, I would value your opinions.

Close to max what? Towing capacity or payload?

You should have no problems with that trailer and TV combo.

The 5.4 is up to the task. It is pretty bullet proof other than the two piece spark plugs. (Not sure if that is a 2010 issue still).
Rev it up and you will have no problems.

Cheers

Jayco 28BHBE GVWR is 9250lbs
Approximately 1200lbs tongue weight loaded to max.

What are the ratings for your truck?

2010 Towing guide says 9300lbs tow rating with 3.73 axle and 11,300lbs with the 4.10 axle ratio.

Could be close depending on what gearing you have.

My 2005 f150 5.4l sucked at towing. It would have a spark plug fail the last two times I towed with itthat was with only 15000miles on the replacement plugs. Also it was a dog turning 3000rpm going 65mph. However it had 3:55 for gears... getting to freeway speeds was a joke if it had any kind of incline. The trailer weighs only 5000lb loaded. Don't get me started on the cam phasers knock. Funny thing is my new truck knocks less and it's a diesel.

"Close" to the same scenario! Just a different engine. No problems towing.

Beware the 3/4 ton is up for the challenge not the motor. If you like the trailer buy it but plan in your budget a bigger engine. Imho

Disregard my previous reply,i read weights wrong.i erased to try to save grace, lol.Jayco says 6100 lbs DRY with 610 hitch weight.I think your only weak link would be the engine, but they are pretty stout engines and it should be up to it.Worst case you put 4,10 gears in or Supercharge it like the lightning. I pulled a 20 ft trailer with skid steer for years doing side jobs and it pulled fine
