Anybody ever used or seen one of these?

I just read a discussion about this on the F150 forum that I visit. Looks very interesting although pricey.

I've seen different versions similar to the "Trailer Toad", but have yet to see one rolling down the highway.

Same here, seen a couple of versions but never seen one on the highway.

That's interesting. If you watch "The Long Long Trailer" (Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball) carefully you can see some kind of "bogey" wheel around the tongue/hitch area. I spotted it in a couple of shots but don't think there's ever a good view of whatever it is but this reminds me of what you've spotted. In the case of the movie (ca: 1953) I doubt there was such a thing as WDH and this was the only way to keep the rear bumper off the roadway.
BTW, everything I need to know about trailering I learned from that movie.

LOL!! The one in the movie looks like an airplane landing gear in the scene where they're installing it! I too learned everything I need to know from that movie, it's one of the greats!

Back on topic; I checked it out and it seems to be designed more for motor homes, I wonder if you could use it on the back of a pickup? Definitely an intriguing product...
