I was looking at tanks just a while ago. Seems the prices are a little better at Northern Tool for the tanks and transfer accessories. You might check there.

If you can pick it up from a store is your best bet. Freight on these things will be 25% more over the cost.

Thinking about DeeZee 106 gallon.

It’s higher than I really want. Was hoping for one under bed rails, just in case I get a tonneau cover sometime.
Try www.titanfueltanks.com But prepare yourself for sticker shock!

Here in OR it is illegal to plumb a gravity feed gas aux tank into the main tank. You can only use a transfer pump to refill the main tank. The reasoning behind this is because the aux tank can overfill the main tank and spill fuel onto the road/ground. Also there is no automatic shut off in a rollover crash. This is a fire hazard. With that said I have also been looking to add transfer tank. I would like add only about 20 to 30 gallons would work for me. Fuel stations are close enough in most cases that I would not need anything bigger.

Transfer Flow Tanks

I went with the 50 gal Transfer Flow tank system and love it. The gravity feed scared me due to potential issues with the gravity feed valve failing. I have had the tank in use for more than 10 years and just removed it from my 2008 GMC and installed it in my 2018 GMC Sierra 3500. Had a problem with rust around the neck of the fill tube and Transfer Flow replaced that immediately. Also had a problem with the Fuel Sending reading from the control module and Transfer Flow immediately replace it. Could not ask for better customer service that what I have see from these folks. Their system will monitor the level in your truck tank and at designated intervals will turn on a small pump and transfer fuel from the aux tank directly into the main tank via the trucks fill neck. I did the complete install in both the 2008 and then the 2018 GMC's by myself and it was easy. I shopped around before purchasing the Transfer Flow tank and system but found none I liked better.

Replacement tank

I bought a Titan 55 gal. replacement tank-hated to give up the "real estate" in the bed. Gives me north of 500 miles with a 16,000 lb. 5ver.

This is a perfect auxiliary tank if you have a short bed truck. I had this same tank on my Ram 2500 Crew Cab w/ 6’4” bed. If you fill your bottom tank + this auxiliary your going to have 70 + gallons of fuel. No annoying truck stops!

I’m new on this forum. We just traded our F250 that had a 50 gallon Titan replacement tank. I loved the fact that you had the longer range and it was out of sight-out of mind. Plus it synced with my trip computer regarding miles to empty, etc. We just upgraded to a F350 dually long box and I checked the Titan replacement tank for it. Almost $1900!! It is a 67 gallon tank....but wow.....that is spendy. That being said....if you want to spend/invest the extra $$....I fully think Titan is the way to go.

Little late to this one but I had a 60 gallon RDS gravity feed that was below the bed rails in my F250. For the life of me I cannot remember the model. Here is what it looked like in my bed when I had the F250. Want to say it was maybe 14 1/2 inches high.

I use a 50 gal gravity feed aux tank in the bed under my truck box. It gravity feeds into the filler neck with a ball valve that shuts off the flow when the main tank is full. The ball valve also is the safety in case of a roll over. I have a shut off valve installed right off the tank so that I can stop all flow if necessary. Had this same tank in my F350 and now in my Dodge. Love stopping when I want and not when I have to!!
