Avalanche no more...
The 2004 Chevy Avalanche has moved on to a new home.
So without further ado, it is my pleasure to introduce to you...
My new tow vehicle... a very clean 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Congratulations. The red Avalanche was sharp looking but the Black Silverado will look even better with that sweet White Hawk (IMHO).

Thanks all!
I am looking forward to seeing how well it pulls the trailer. My White Hawk is at the dealer getting some warranty work done. In a week, we are heading out for a road trip. Gettysburg (if open), Williamsburg/Hampton, Disney's Fort Wilderness, Smokey Mountains, and back to Western New York. It should be a nice workout!
If it can handle that, it should be ok to load up with a bunch of Boy Scouts! I just hope the Weather Tech floor liners arrive before any Scouts climb in... they get kind of muddy!

You cant beat Weather Tech floor liners. I have them in my Silverado and put them in my wifes Sonota. What a perfect fit and I'd say very worth the extra price you pay over random floor mats from the big box stores. First thing we did in my wifes new Sonota was pull the customer OEM floor carpets and store them in the garage. This can really be a big incentive when it comes time to sell the car at some point to have spotless OEM floor mats in there and I just throw the Weather Tech's in the trunk as an added bonus for the new buyer to discover.

I love my Weather Tech liners, I ordered and received them while my truck was still in production.

I can honestly say that I didn't know there was such a thing as a 2500 Avalanche. Maybe they aren't or weren't available in Canada.

It seems many didn't know they made one here either. I just think its a numbers issue. Not many were made and only for 3 years. Almost every camping trip somebody will question my tow vehicle being able to tow our 33RLDS. They don't realize its a 2500 and even when I tell them its obvious they didn't know a 2500 Avalanche existed by the bewildered look. Lol.
