Back to scale today
So, here is the thread where I originally went to the scales to check my weight. I added 2 washers to my Equalizer hitch and went back on the way home from a trip this weekend for the first Mountaineer home game!!
This is one pass with hitch all hooked up.
Steer 3600 (up from 3500 and closer to 3700 (unhitched))
Drive 3800 (down from 4300 and closer to max (4050))
Trailer 6500 (40 up from previous weigh)
Now, I also only had one kid and no wife, less weight on the trailer as wife had our bags in her car. This was a weight just to see if the steer axle was closer to unhitched weight. We are maybe planning another trip in 2 weeks, so I'll go back once more fully loaded to see where I'm at. I'm also going to add the 3rd and final washer to the hitch. Remeasured everything and all hitched up by height measurements are dead on. Still debating, but feel better today.
