Beach towing and tire pressure

Hi all,

I'm pulling my trailer onto the beach in a few hours. Normally when I go onto the beach I air my tires down to around 15psi from the norm of 60/80 psi.

I'm wondering if I should still air down that low whilst towing the trailer behind me. Kind of need to balance the boy wanting to get stuck in the sand with also not wanting to breaking a tire bead seal on the rim because of too low psi.

Anyone have any experience with loose sand towing?

Thanks all

You have to do them all or you will get stuck. I run at 18PSI on my trailer when doing so. Don't go below that though or you might break a bead when turning, done that too.

Have a good air compressor with you and a heavy tow strap rated for both TV and TT combo.
