Bed cover for F-350 long bed

Hello: We want to buy a bed cover. Plan to purchase a B&W hitch and don’t want the puck hitch visible to potential thieves when not in use. Don’t know which brand to consider. We are thinking about the roll up type but would that be too heavy? Any recommendations appreciated.

Have you given a look at the Bakflip bed covers. They have some nice covers in many styles.

I have the short bed f250 I have a gator bed cover. It rolls up works very well. Very easy to install. I have a B&W hitch with the puck system does not touch when closed. Cost less than 300 buck off Amazon.

I have a Truxedo, I suggest the lowpro so it does not reduce your clearances between bed rails and the Rv.

I have the BAK Revolver X4 on my truck. Installed by myself in about 45 minutes, looks great, keeps the bed dry and rolls up so I can use my entire truck bed.

rollups are fine. it just depends on what you want and what you want to spend.

We have a TruXedo which is fine but do your homework.

My BakFlip experience is a little different. I put the cover on in '14 when I bought the truck. The finish is pretty crummy looking at this point and while the truck is kept outside, it is lovingly cared for. The adhesive (?) that secures the top black layer has let loose on a couple of the panels. As a result there is a lot of flex in those panels. Lastly, the rubber between the panels has shrunk and as a result a bit of water does find its way into the truck bed. If I were looking for another cover I'd have to do some serious research before committing that amount of money to another Bak cover.

We have a F350 short bed with a Undercover Flex triple fold-up and love it. Pretty secure if the tailgate locks. Only problem is with the current 5th wheel the cover has to come off when we tow because of clearance issue with pin box. Not a problem you would encounter with long bed. I wish I had a hard rollup.

I really like my Gator Tri-fold. With a long bed it works great.

I forgot to ask. Will all bed covers have enough height so it rolls smoothly over the B&W 5th wheel hitch? Thank you.

We ended up ordering a Pace Edwards full metal jack rabbit tonneau cover. Thanks everyone for your input.
