Blue ox weight distribution hitch thoughts

What are your thoughts on the blue ox weight distribution hitch system? We are having more sway with our new Jayco Octane than we experienced with our old TH and are researching a new hitch.

We had one installed on a used 2008 Jayflight 22FB that we purchased this spring. I like it and it is easy to use, no sway problems so far.I don’t get in any hurry though and I keep my speed around 55 mph. I considered the Equalizer as well but a local dealer carries the Blue Ox.

We have an Equalizer for our 314BHDS, which is a big girl, and the Equalizer does a nice job. I haven't used the Blue Ox, but hear good things.

Have one on my 29qbs and love it. Easy to use, can back up without removing and has done its job in all sorts of conditions. Only WDH I've used but I highly recommend it.

I've heard nothing but good things regarding the Blue Ox. We traded in our 7500# TT for our current 10000# TT. With the previous TT I was using the 1200# Equal-i-zer, and it was great. I needed to upgrade the hitch with the heavier TT, so I opted to try a Blue Ox. Maybe it was just the heavy tongue weight of the new trailer, but I haven't liked it. It seems to be much more loose and prone to pushing me side to side than the Equal-i-zer on my previous TT.

I have a Blue Ox installed on a 2015 27DSRL I've never towed a TT before so I have nothing to compare it to. Dragging this TT in the wind I see the TT's in front of me going all over the road with sway and my TT is staying inline with the TV don't know what they are using. The feeling I get when towing is like the TT is trying to sway but the hitch puts it in check quickly. I roll at average speed of 65mph. There was a couple of times I could see the decals on the side of the TT, this was in some serious Oklahoma blow, Whew!!... I think this hitch works as advertised.

We had the standard standard WDH with friction bar on our old 27'hornet that I hated. When we upgraded to our 33bhbs We ended up with the Blue Ox with the 1400lb bars and love it. I did a lot of research on hitches both Internet and talking with people with different hitches. The only other hitches I would old went with is the Hensley Arrow or Pro Pride 3.

Only have good things to say about Blue Ox system. 27DSRL towed with F150 Crew EcoBoost. Sway correction is quick and reassuring.
