TV Brakes Squeak

I have a 2020 2500 HD with 22k miles. As the title says the brakes squeak at low speeds. Took it to dealer twice but could not duplicate.

After doing some research apparently this is normal with the stock pads. Research also says you can make the squeak go away with softer pads, but wear will be compromised.

Should I be worried?

Thanks in advance

Brakes Squeak

You don’t say what make of truck you have, but…
My RAM squealed from new. I had it back in many times. They would grease all the lube points, and it would last a couple weeks.
I just put in a Powerstop Z36 Truck kit. Dead quiet, no more dust, and it stops so much better.

Often times squeaks have nothing to do with the pad-rotor contact point. Those squeaks can be the result of the various other metal-to-metal contact points which may resonate with certain frequencies. This can be solved by grabbing a tube of Sil-Glyde (or equivalent) and lubricating your brakes. Slather the backs of your pads and ALL metal-to-metal contact points. Lubricate your pins, too.
