Camera choice to monitor hitch

Since we changed vehicles and hitches, I find I need a camera to monitor the hitch when I am hooking up.

I am looking for some type of inexpensive wireless camera that I can connect to on my iphone to watch as I line up the ball to the hitch. It can be a stick on or suction cup, etc. It will only be used for that purpose and inside when not in use.

I have been looking but can't find anything except something like a baby monitor.
Wondering if anyone has been thru this?

I ordered an inexpensive camera and I will report on how it works when it arrives.

It's called a YI.

I think that uses a 110v adapter for power, it's not battery powered.

I bought a pair of “car radio antenna” hitch aids from HF. Intended for a bumper pull but didn’t work very well for me. Fast-forward to the 5th. Discovered I couldn’t see the hitch from my driver’s seat. Remembered I had the HF’s in the basement so I stuck one on the hitch plate and line up the pin with the antenna and it works really well for me. If the Bride is handy she double checks the pin height and gives me a final alignment check. If I’m hitching solo, I get close and do the final checks myself.

Hope not, that's supposed to be for charging the battery. If it's not it's returned.

Thanks, if this does not work out, I'll check out HF.

These are the two I am debating.

https://www.amazon.com/EWAY-Magnetic...NsaWNrPXRydWU=
This one is battery powered. The magnetic attachment doesn't help with aluminum beds.

The other is 12V powered. I don't really want bolt on, though.

I may end up with the magnetic one and a 3M attached metal plate, so I can still remove it.

I cannot use a highmount brake light mounted one because of the bed cover.

Edit: Etrailer has this one that attaches with velcro and is similar to the magnetic version.

madmaxmutt: That is another idea. I don't plan to use this one much and am trying to cheap out!

Yup, in the same boat. I will only use it to back up to the hitch. I don't want a loan for this

With my Andersen, I haven't needed one. I am looking at a Reese Goosebox. It seems to have a tighter requirement for the ball location. I am sure I will need something.

You were right about the battery. I am going to keep it for a door camera and look for something else for the hook up view.
