Decided on a tow vehicle.

Decided on a 2011 Ford F250XLT 6.2L to pull a Jayco Eagle HT 26.5 RLS. What do you think?

I am biased but I think you made a great choice. Did you get a standard, extended or super crew ??? Also, 4x4 or 2WD ???

I have had a Chevy, two Fords, Dodge, and a Ford truck. I going to stick with Ford from now on.

You should have more than enough pulling and hauling capacity, which is a very good thing. Even more importantly, you'll have an easier time stopping the 10,000# behind you. Good choice!

I think you will be very happy with your choice, we pull our 26.5 RLS with a 2012 GMC D/A crewcab diesel and it does a great job, getting around 12 mpg with both our RLS and Crestliner Superhawk 1900 behind the truck. I would expect you to have similar results and won't even make the truck work hard. Congratulations on your choice.

Not up to date on Fords. Is this a gas or diesel? IMHO...diesel is the way to go.
