With 10 gallon how far do you go between oil changes? Will look up that valve.Once we remove that oil pan nut drains 3 gallons about 60 seconds lol! Thanks

I’m amazed that your Cummins is only 3 gallons. My 94 5.9 out of a medium duty has a 19 quart oil pan.

Had the same problem, put them on an F350 diesel and the ride went from solid, to super squishy and would wiggle side to side.

Went back and got LTX M/S, no issues. So weird, but hated the LTX AT2.

The age old question diesel or gas?

Diesel
More power
More power
Exhaust brake
More power
Smile on face
Fuel economy smile on face
Repair cost with no warranty no smile on face
Look forward to steep inclines smile on face
Look forward to going down steep grades smile on face
Reaching campground not wore out smile on face
10k more in price no smile go to sell get 10k more smile on face (you pay more but you can sell it more =get the money back of what it cost for the upgrade over gas)
Gas
No power (compared to diesel ) no smile
Fuel economy no smile
Seeing someone else pass you in a diesel with smile no smile on face.

End result you don’t want a diesel because your face will hurt from smiling. So stuck with gas.

All kidding aside if you can afford the upgraded cost to diesel why wouldn't you?

The Defender replaced the MS2's. The MS2's had a recall due to sidewall failures and then they finally discontinued the product. I had a sidewall blow out at highway speeds on a 265/70/17 MS2. Tires had under 3000 miles on them at the time. Thank God it didn't cause an accident.

Just for that reason alone, I will never drop another dime on a Michelin product or trust one on a vehicle.

I put Cooper Discoverer AT3’s on my 2500 two seasons ago and I’m completely happy with them. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat. They are not noisy and provide a smooth ride. No issues when loaded up with the golf cart in the bed and the trailer hooked up.

I researched tires a few years ago and installed cooper at3's on my truck. for my usage that is what fit me the best. they are quiet and are wearing very well but have good traction when I need it . purchased them from discount tire and got a very good deal on them.

We used Cooper tires for our service trucks and never a complaint out of them. Sure wish I had bought them instead of the high-rated brand.

Same OE tires I have on my Chev. I can feel squirm under my butt depending on what I'm following. Behind something like a car hauler that makes a dirty wake I can feel the truck rear end squirming. I moved from a LB DRW to a SB SRW and assumed it was the loss off two rear wheels but maybe it's the tires.

On the diesel vs gas.... I have too much weight to not have a diesel but I did try to see if a gas truck would work before buying this one.

On my dually I replaced the worn out Duratracs with Defenders. I thought they would be quieter but they weren't even with the less aggressive tread. Don't know how long they would have lasted as I traded the truck.

This is the most accurate thing ever LOL

I've been in my diesel for all of 6 months and I still grin ear to ear every time I get in the thing. This time of year it's the snowmobile trailer and 600 mile round trips every weekend. Such a pleasure compared to my 6.0L and 5.4L gassers before it (and the 5th wheel, man it's just night and day different there)

Yep, I am planning a cross country trip this summer with my new Cummins, when I had my 2016 2500 6.4L hemi we took it to Las Vegas and I was getting from 7 mpg in the mountains to 9.5 mpg.

Now that I have my Cummins it should shine with it come to going through the mountains. Oh the hemi preformed well with no problem but I feel that the Cummins will do a better job towing our 5ht wheel.
