Do I have the weight distributed properly?

Based on the numbers below, do I have my rig set up properly? I am towing with a Tahoe with a GVWR of 7900 lbs. The tongue weight was calculated by subtracting the total truck weight established in the first line from the total weight of the second weight of 12460 lbs. And then the total trailer weight was calculated by adding the tongue weight to the trailer weight. Looks like I've got just over 10% on the tongue. Sorry for all of the dots below. I was trying to get the table to display properly.

It appears that you need to transfer more weight to the TV's front suspension. TV front axle weight (TV only) was 3,200lbs and with your WDH engaged you only transferred back 3,000lbs....... short by 200lbs. I would add another chain link "under tension" as long as you maintain at least 5 chain links under tension. If you are already at 5 chain links under tension, then tilt your ball mount back toward the TT one adjustment postion. Do not transfer more than 3,200lbs because this will force your front suspension against the suspension stops creating a rough ride.

I would try a get within 50lbs of your 3,200lbs if you can...... CAT scales can have an error factor of about 40lbs.

Your gross TT weight is 6,240lbs + 780lbs= 7,020lbs. Tongue weight at 780lbs = 11% (approx.) is acceptable, but with the 28ft length of the 25RKS a 13% to 15% range will provide enhanced TV handling.

Thanks Bob, I can tighten the chains by one more link and still have 5 links under tension. That would have 3 links hanging loose. I'll give that a try as you suggested.
